I originally began the newsletter when I moderated a photography forum. I saw it as a way to share knowledge, provide some humor, keep members updated on new products and interesting websites, and to generally give readers an entertaining mini magazine in their inbox which was useful and fun, without being just an organ for a message board. Alas, after only two issues of the newsletter, I left my moderating duties at the forum and did not continue with it.

As I am building my own photography site, I thought it would it would be a good opportunity to revamp the newsletter. I enjoy writing it after all, and it does give me an opportunity to include articles, sidelights, trivia, humor, etc., which may not be full fledged enough for the articles section, in an easily digestible format.

The newsletter compilation, as listed on this page, is a compilation of the first two newsletters I wrote. You can subscribe to the newsletter to receive new issues as they are ready; on an irregular schedule. If you do not feel comfortable with subscribing (hey, it's free), not to worry as I will be posting new issues on this page, a few months after they have been mailed out to subscribers.
